This Birds Nest Fryer can be used to create potato or noodle bird nest style edible bowls, which can be used to serve a variety of dishes. Consisting of two baskets which clamp together to shape the shredded or julienned potato into a bowl while it is deep fried, this birds nest frying basket has a long handle to protect the cook from the heat of the deep fryer. While it is usually used to create edible bowls for serving main courses in Asian restaurants, birds nests can be used to dramatic effect for presenting other types of dishes as well. Available in 8cm or 10cm diameters.
