It has a shiny brushed stainless steel finish and two handles for easy carrying and a lid to help retain heat and moisture. The tap enables the easy dispensing and serving of fine soups with minimum spillage.
This stockpot is part of the Bourgeat Excellence range of pots and pans. The pot has a number of cooking features including excellent heat transmission with direct heat sources and uniform cooking across the whole surface. It is suitable for use with all heat sources and has an easy to grip‚ stay-cool, waterproof handle. The pot is made of stainless steel with a flat aluminium base and reinforced rim. The base is also coated with a special magnetic stainless-steel for induction cooking.
The Excellence range of pots also meets hygiene standards; the sealed handles mean there is no risk of microbial accumulation and the pots are easy to clean with no angles or dirt traps present.
